The Voice team is looking for a Knowledge Management and Reporting Officer to ensure the delivery of the final knowledge products due from the program before its formal closure in December 2024.

About voice

Voice is an innovative grant facility financed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands to support rightsholders and groups facing marginalization or discrimination in their efforts to exert influence in accessing productive and social services and political participation. Voice operates in a context where civic space and power is shifting at a fast pace, and often closing rather than opening. Voice is implemented in ten countries in Africa and Asia, by a consortium between Oxfam Novib and Hivos.

Job context

The Knowledge Management and Reporting Officer is a short-term position within the Voice global coordination team, aimed at ensuring the quality delivery of the final knowledge products due from the program before its formal closure in December 2024. These include the Voice@8 final narrative report and the NOW-Us! Package. The position will report to the Voice global program manager and work in close coordination with the monitoring and evaluation and communications officers.

Key responsibilities

  • Co-coordinate the development of the Voice@8 final report, specifically focusing on collating the linking and learning lessons and ensuring the analysis of the progress and impact of the Voice program, together with the monitoring and evaluation, grants linking and learning, and communications team members.
  • Contribute to the development of the NOW-Us! Package of resources, specifically focusing on collating resources related to linking and learning, together with the monitoring and evaluation team.
  • Coordinate on the series of short learning documents on a selected number of topics (like the rightsholder centred learning document)
  • Contribute to the conceptualization and design of the knowledge products with the communication teams.
  • Co-lead on the meta-analysis of the project journeys of Voice grantee partners
  • Coordinate ongoing knowledge management, documentation, or analytical initiatives, as required.
  • Participate in and support the conceptualization of relevant Voice events.

Candidate profile

  • Demonstrated ability to organize and analyze information, particularly in a reporting and knowledge management setting.
  • Knowledge of and affinity with work to advance social inclusion and challenge discrimination and marginalization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Working knowledge of French is an added bonus.
