    Kudzai Dongo is a seasoned finance professional with nine years of progressive experience in the International NGO sector. She specializes in financial and grants management, expertly overseeing the financial and technical monitoring of a diverse grant portfolio from initiation to closure, ensuring adherence to organizational policies and donor regulations. Kudzai also provides support to sub-grantees' to enhance their financial management capabilities through training and capacity-building initiatives.

    Bio

    Brenda is a human rights activist with over 15 years of experience in project planning, implementation and management for both local and international Non-Governmental Organizations. Her area of expertise is in health programing which includes SRHR/HIV/GBV with proven experience of providing capacity development to civil society organizations. At Hivos, Brenda focuses on strengthening the organizational and technical capacity of SRHR/GBV grant partners in fields such as governance, administration, financial management, strategic advocacy, constituency building and monitoring and evaluation and grant management in East and Southern Africa.

    Finance assistant
    Bio

    Gamuchirai "Gamu" L Mahachi skillfully combines financial expertise with a deep commitment to social justice. Starting out as a HIVOS intern, she advanced to a crucial role within the organization and later honed her financial skills at an audit firm.

    Currently, Gamu is the Finance Assistant for the Fund, but she was previously a Regional Finance Assistant. With a strong dedication to women's rights, she recognizes financial empowerment as a pivotal catalyst for driving positive and impactful changes. Gamu supports the processing of payments and financial technical support to the Fund’s partners.

    Bio

    Mazuba is a driven Program Assistant with more than 5 years of experience in the industry. Committed to delivering outstanding administrative support within office settings, Mazuba showcases a remarkable degree of professionalism and meticulousness. She is skilled in communication and facilitation, with a solid background in budget monitoring, program coordination, relationship management, and meeting tight deadlines.

    Mazuba coordinates the finance and administration aspects of the Fund including procurement, service provider management and programme documentation.

    Lizzie is a professional accountant with extensive experience is leading financial management processes for donor-funded programs. She is specialized in finance support services including budgeting and expenditure control, financial management and accounting, grant and sub-grant management, compliance and financial reporting. In her role, Lizzie provides financial technical support to the Fund’s partners ensuring prudent financial management and compliance.

    Brave is a public health advocate with a professional background in public health and demography. He has vast research, monitoring and evaluation expertise and experience. In his role, Brave provides planning, monitoring and evaluation expertise to the Fund and its partners. He promotes program reflection and learning to inform implementation, approaches and strategies.

    Limpo is a development specialist with vast experience in program coordination and management. Her specific areas of expertise include capacity strengthening, social behavior change communication, Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), child rights and protection, and HIV and AIDS prevention and treatment. In her role, Limpo leads on capacity strengthening processes, including organizational development, and provides grants management for the Fund’s partners.

    Policy, Advocacy and Campaigns Program Officer
    Kudzai is a public health practitioner with experience in designing, implementing and monitoring development programs. She also has expertise in adolescent SRHR, including comprehensive abortion care, HIV and AIDS prevention and treatment, and health promotion. In her role, Kudzai leads the conceptualization and design of advocacy campaigns, undertakes grants management for the Fund’s partners, and provides them with technical support on policy engagement.
