According to community organizing principles, a strategic goal should be determined based on the vision. Then, a theory of change will be developed, followed by tactics.

What is a tactic?

A tactic means to use whatever resources and skills you have to achieve your strategic goal based on your vision. Therefore, in order to come out with a good tactic, you should always keep in mind your vision and strategic goal. Also, you should make a power analysis to determine which tactic is the most suitable and avoid being misled by suggestions that do not necessarily help you meet your target. Furthermore, a tactic must be easy to implement by people, and not require a lot of effort from their end.
