Asia Yaghi has been unable to walk since she was a young girl. At school, the biggest challenge that she faced was that toilets were not equipped with adequate seats. As a result, she had to remain thirsty till she returned home.

Her inability to walk, however, has not stopped her from living her life to the fullest, and founding a center for people with special needs in Jordan. What makes her initiative more distinguished is that the center is not limited to offering services to these people, but rather to raise their awareness on their rights, and provide them with social and psychological support.
