Jordanian women members of local councils registered in the Fast Leadership Program implemented by the Jordanian National Commission for Women (JNCW) in cooperation with Hivos and funding from the Dutch MFA completed their training, which was attended online over the course of 2 months because – and despite – of Covid-19 restrictions.

The weekly sessions were divided into three major topics: Dispute and Conflict Resolution, Effective and Convincing Leader, and Team Work and Cooperation.

As a result of the training, women became more empowered and increased their knowledge in these subjects while strengthening their networking capacities and expanding their connections with women who have similar concerns and interests.
