Our impact areas
Our organization
Hivos is managed by an Executive Board, made up of Chief Executive Officer Michel Farkas (ad interim) and Chief Operations Officer Allert van den Ham (ad interim). The Management Team includes the head of the Business Development Department, the directors of our regional hubs, and several other management positions.
The Supervisory Council is chaired by Diana Monissen.
Hivos Theory of Change
Hivos values working with Theory of Change (ToC) as an appropriate approach to guide its strategic thinking and action, as well as its collaborative action with others. A Theory of Change approach can be used for different purposes, by different users, and at different moments in the cycle of developing, monitoring, reviewing or evaluating a program or strategy.
