In Jordan’s rural areas, the idea of women driving tractors is not socially accepted as such vehicles are considered too complex and big to be driven by females.

However, this video shows a new reality in the Jordan Valley, where some men are actually teaching women how to drive tractors, empowering them and giving them more tools to access the job market.

The 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence campaign is part of the Women Empowered for Leadership (WE4L) program implemented by Hivos.
