As part of the inception phase of the Urban Futures Program in Medellin, and under the leadership of the Mi Sangre Foundation, a participatory process was conducted to shape the program’s implementation strategy in the city-region. This process placed particular emphasis on engaging young people and women.
The implementation strategy features an analysis of the current state of the food system in Medellin, presents the Theory of Change and contains a comprehensive work plan.
About Urban futures
Urban Futures works at the intersection of urban food systems, youth wellbeing, and climate action. Operating in intermediary cities in five countries, it supports local partners and especially young people to create more inclusive, climate-resilient cities and urban food systems.
