This document summarizes relevant emerging recommendations from the Financing for Feminist Futures (F4FF) Conference.

This publication shows how LGBTQ+ inclusion boosts economic outcomes, and how discrimination against LGBTQ+ communities may inhibit companies from achieving their full growth potential and hinder their ability to attract the best talent.

At Hivos, we believe that inclusive development is not only a matter of justice, but also a precondition for sustainable progress. That’s why, through our Free to Be Me program, we researched with the Bank Information Center to what extent the World Bank takes the realities faced by LGBTQI+ communities into account in its operations.

This booklet is a celebration of the courage, creativity, and determination that have defined the We Lead program. Within these pages are stories of young women who challenged stigma, reimagined possibilities, and turned advocacy into lasting action for SRHR.

Walking the Talk commissioned 13 bold research projects to explore and offer tangible solutions to today’s financing challenges. These projects span more than 30 countries and reimagine how feminist work is funded, highlighting the feminist-led approaches that can help reshape global systems for equity and justice.

At FFD4 in Sevilla, Hivos co-hosted a dynamic side event on financing for gender equality, uniting global ministers, feminist leaders, and development partners. Despite underwhelming conference outcomes, the event showcased strong political will and collective action for advancing a feminist agenda in development financing. Read the full event readout here.
